London Fine Foods - Cheese Towers

Cheese Towers from London Fine Foods I must admit it is a new idea since I got married in 1997, but apparently the new 'in thing' is not to have a weding cake as a desert course for the wedding breakfast.London Fine Foods Group have been quick to spot this opening and have been able to lead the field in designing great combinations of cheese rounds instead of the traditional cake.

Tiered Cheese Towers are the new kids on the block. But.... if you actually stop and think about it, then it is not really that surprising.

Cheese has really seen a resurgence at the table over a number of tears and palates are moving away from sweet to savoury ... my wife even forgave me for not tasting a single morsel of our own wedding cake as it is simply not to my (and many other peoples taste) in 2008.  

If you are looking for an alternative to a traditional wedding cake, then this is a great alternative..... and at a potential fraction of the cost of a traditional multi-tiered wedding cake.
