    Gabriel Boudier's creme de cassis is of exceptional quality, which comes from the perfect balance between the carefully selected blackcurrants, alcohol and sugar, that has made the product universally acclaimed. Enjoy its deep violet colour, its intense fruit flavour and its long velvety texture. Gabriel Boudier have always made a point of keeping the original label created in 1874 for its Creme de Cassis de Dijon. With its distinctive square edged bottle its fits neatly into the refrigerator door. (Storage advice : Keep your Creme de Cassis de Dijon in the refrigerator after opening. It will retain all its colour and flavour for at least 4 months. Once it turns brown Creme de Cassis de Dijon is oxidised but is not a health risk.) Their Creme de Cassis de Dijon provides the ideal base for a 'Vin Blanc Cassis' - the second most popular aperitif in France. (For the best results mix 1 part Creme de Cassis de Dijon with 4 parts of dry white Burgundy Aligote)The high fruit concentration in the Creme de Cassis means that you can use half the amount you would normally need. This means that your aperitif will be fruitier, not over sweet and more economical to make.

Gabriel Boudier use the best raspberries of the world, namely those made in Scotland and in Burgundy. These raspberries are macerate in alcohol. Then, they add a quantity of Raspberries eau de vie. Raspberries macerate at a much lower temperature than cassis. This fruit is much more delicate to retain the fresh fruit flavours, they must not  cook it with a too high alcoholic degree.
