Asda Microwave Recall

Supermarket Asda has recalled around 300,000 of its own brand microwaves over concerns they could overheat and burst into flames.
The move comes after the supermarket was contacted by three customers complaining about a problem with the Asda Durabrand microwave.
Asda says no-one has been hurt but if you own one of these microwaves, the advice is to disconnect it from the mains supply and stop using it.
Full refund
Customers can then bring the microwave to their nearest Asda for a full refund.
The supermarket adds that customers don't need to return the box or produce a receipt.
The affected model is the Asda Durabrand microwave.
It sold for £22.75, has the model number XB2316 and the barcode 5050854397271.
Apology
An Asda spokesman said: ‘It goes without saying we are very sorry indeed.’
