Celebrating the centenary of the first commercial bottling of Drambuie in Edinburgh in 1909, The Royal Legacy of 1745 is a sublime interpretation of the original royal spirit enjoyed by Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1745. At its heart remains the Prince's legacy - his secret elixir of exotic herbs and spices sourced from around the globe and unchanged for 260 years. Today, Drambuie's whisky blenders have the luxury of hand picking a bespoke selection of Scotland's finest rare aged malts to complement the elixir's distinctive flavour notes. Drambuie's art of spirit infusion, perfected over the past century, is taken to new heights with The Royal Legacy of 1745. Hand crafted cask infusion and small batch production guarantee unique product quality in strictly limited quantities. The finished product is bottled at 46%ABV to enhance the intensity of flavour. Presented in an embossed decanter, crowned with a weighty cork stopper, The Royal Legacy of 1745, evokes the luxury and indulgence of a bygone regal age. Taking its cue from the new distinctive core Drambuie packaging, the sword slashes on the shoulders and the interlocking DDs trademark are central features of the decanter. Each decanter's presentation box will be individually authenticated with the bottling date, bottle number and signature of the Drambuie Master Blender.

Delamain Très Vénérable Grande Champagne Cognac is blended from a range of Cognacs averaging 45 to 50 years of age, which have been reduced by natural evaporation to approximately 45 percent alcohol by volume. It is brought to 40 percent consumption strength by the gradual addition of 'vieilles faibles, 'very old, weak Grande Champagne Cognacs showing a natural alcohol content of 15 percent. The unusual label design is taken from a French Revolutionary bank note. Introduced in 1976, this rare Cognac inspires the respect and reverence its name, and age, suggest. Brilliant deep topaz in colour with gold highlights, its profound, complex bouquet reveals subtle nuances of dried fruits, licorice and mellowed oak. An initial freshness and delicacy on the palate unfold into a rich, palette of mature flavours underscored by sophisticated 'rancio', notes of fruitcake and cheese. A Cognac of perfect balance with exceptional length on the finish. Extraordinary delicacy in a rich, full flavoured cognac.
