Food with Passion's philosopy is to provide you with a wide selection of top quality foods, occasional treats as well as cookware and appliances to help you appreciate what Real food is all about.

We will not typically feature supermarket products here as we remain unconvinced of their appreciation of true quality food over their profits.

You will notice that we do not actually sell any products ourselves here. Instead we act as an introducer to bring you together with the actual supplier. That way, we don't have overheads to recoup and you can buy your basket of goods at the best price possible directly from the supplier.

Whilst some of the products will already have travelled some miles to get to the supplier (especially true for Regional specialities), our approach will mean that your goods will not have any extra transport miles to our storage facilities; instead, the supplier will send the goods directly to you and in the case of natural produce, it will be able to reach you in the finest condition possible for your appreciation.

Julie Dronfield of Penpethick Farm in Cornwall is a small holder that moved away from urban life to find a bit of 'the good life' in rural Cornwall.

Julie now specialises in rearing pure bred Gloucester Old Spot pigs and in an inspired move, decided that she couldn't be the only small producer that needed access to the consumers.

Fields of Food is the result of her inspiration. So what is the site? Think of eBay but at the farm gate, with farmer and consumer trying to settle upon a fair price either by auction, buy it out or making an offer ..... a FoodieBay!!

As encouragement to new producers to sign up, Julie is offering access to the site with NO Auction Set up fee's and extra listing features are also free until 31st January 2009.

Crunch your Supermarket bills!!

Food with Passion prefers using small producers for quality produce, but let's face it, it is difficult to avoid using supermarkets for things such as dog food, milk, bread, cereals etc.. the list gows on an on.

My Supermarket is an innovative way to make savings on your supermarket bills. Whilst shopping throughout My SuperMarket you will be offered alternatives to the items in your basket that are less expensive. Perhaps your basket will be even cheaper with an alternative supermarket? My Supermarket takes care of identifying that for you from its current list of supported supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda and Ocado [Waitrose] ).

Your can typically save up to 20% by using the comparison facilities or make your shopping go further by identifying free pack offers. On a test Food with Passion conducted on a random set of products we would buy, the savings came out closer to 30%.

Signing up to the service is free and your shopping will be delivered direct to your door. The savings should cover the delivery charge and make shopping a breeze.

If you already collect Clubcard or Nectar points, you will still receive them, but in addition My Supermarket will also award you ipoints which you can redeem from a large catalogue of items.
