When you order 'fresh' fish from The Fish Society, it WILL be supplied frozen. Contrary to popular opinion, so long as the fish is of the finest quality, then the frozen fish will be at least as delicious as an equivalent fresh fish. This was borne out by independent taste tests carried out on fillets (fresh and frozen) from the same fish in a live tasting on the Radio 4 Food Programme. Frozen fish is highly convenient and unlike fresh fish, does not need to be eaten immediately.

The Fish Society has a slick website displaying all manner of fish, having a range of around 200 delicious fish products to choose from.

As fishmongers, The Fish Society usually stock all their customer favourites. These include halibut fillet steaks, wild salmon fillets, whole lemon sole, John Dory fillets amongst many.

	King Prawns In Breadcrumbs 500g Meat PoultryandFish The humble breaded prawn is not really Fish Society territory, but after some umming and ahhing and a lot of tasting, we thought we'd give this line a try, because as breaded prawns go these are pretty good (quite large - 26 prawns per pack, and a 50/50 crumb to prawn ratio... whereas often the bread coating is MUCH more dominant), and oven-readiness is such an outstanding advantage. So if you can bring yourself to do a bit of cheating, this will save you hours and give you a good result. Add a tangy dip and you're in business!
